Cooke charged over KR move

Paul Cooke will face a Rugby Football League tribunal over his move to Hull KR.

The 26-year-old has been charged by the RFL with "making an alleged illegal approach to another club prior to the expiry of his contact, without permission of his registered club".

Cooke left Hull FC in April in a controversial move to Craven Park. The RFL initially blocked the move before letting it go ahead.

The move was referred to the governing body’s Compliance Commission. Cooke will face the tribunal on September 24th.
