Hull was rebuilt in a hurry after being devastated by bombs in World War Two, most of the post war concrete monstrosities that scarred the city centre have now been knocked down. Much of the area is now a building site. Critics say the designs are bland and lack ambition. Michelle soon finds out the same accusations were once thrown at the 1950s buildings they replace. With the contemporary KC Stadium and the innovative 'Deep' aquarium is it fair that Hull gets such bad press?
