Basil Brush talks to Peter Levy
The TV star jokes with a puppet

Levy leads a night to remember

An audience of 300 enjoyed a show with a difference at Hull Truck Theatre at the weekend.

A host of stars from the world of showbusiness, politics and sport took part in a special event with Peter Levy to help raise money for the BBC's regional Children in Need Appeal.

Ballet star Wayne Sleep, actress Lorraine Chase, and Children's favourite Basil Brush were just some of the mystery guests unveiled on the night.

By the looks of things it was also used as a recruitment drive to find a replacement for our resident weatherman Paul Hudson.

Take a look back at the night here.
