Haunted Hull

This Halloween the Late Licence on BBC Radio Humberside presents the Haunted History of Queen’s Gardens.

David Reeves is joined by a whole host of paranormal experts including a historian, a psychic and of course the all important sceptics.

Ghost Chasers are one of Hull's leading paranormal investigative teams.  Their team of experts will be at the BBC Open Centre in Hull on October 31st where you will be able to see some of their state of the art investigative equipment; including motion detectors and voice recording equipment designed to pick up EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) - examples of which will be available at the Open Centre.

Come along from 9am, meet the investigation team, share your own ghostly tales and find out more about what the Ghost Chasers will be looking for on Halloween night when the  team will investigate alleged paranormal activity at the new BBC building in Hull.

The BBC building in Hull is built on the site of the former Custom’s House.  Queen’s Gardens were originally Queen’s Dock, until it was filled in and converted to a park in 1935.

Perhaps you used to work in the area and have a spooky experience to tell us. If so you can get in touch with the Late Licence by e-mail.

You can hear the Halloween special Late Licence between 10:30pm and 1:00am on Tuesday 31st October on BBC Radio Humberside.

You'll be able to follow the search live on BBC Radio Humberside from 10.30pm
