Durham Tees Valley AirportThe airport began its life as Royal Air Force Station, Middleton-St-George in 1941. In the 1960s the terminal was opened by the Queen of Sweden Teeside. International Airport underwent a change of name in 2004 and its current owners have ambitious plans for the airport's future.
