Waiting for the ghost train

A team of ghost chasers will spend a night in a supposedly haunted local museum.

Strange sights and sounds have been heard and seen in the corridors and rooms of the National Railway Museum in York.

Staff claim to have seen a ghostly figure of a man stalking the building as well as the sound of eerie footsteps echoing at night.

Such activity has been brought to the attention of local paranormal investigators The Ghost Chasers.

In February, a team of six paranormal investigators from Hull will head to the museum to spend a night investigating the alleged ghostly activities.

Mike Smith, the founder of Ghost Chasers says there’s lots to uncover at the museum as there has been reports of poltergeist activity, strange knocks and spooky incidents.

The team will spend up to eight hours through the night using a variety of specialist ghost catching equipment.

According to Mike, the best time to hunt ghosts is around midnight when there is less light and things tend to be quieter.
