No contract talks yet at Hull City

Hull City chairman Adam Pearson says they haven't agreed any pre-contracts with new players for next season.

There's speculation amongst some fans that City already have players lined-up, but the Chairman says that's not the case: "I don't think we're doing anything with regards to the playing squad until we know where we are next season. Off the pitch, we're trying to gear up for when we do it. On the pitch, I think we're going to leave it until we know where we're playing."

Pearson continued: "We don't do pre-contracts, and we never have done and we never will do. It's all complete rumour and gossip. There's nothing planned at all at the minute."

City could take a significant step towards promotion this evening (12th April). If Tranmere lose at Brentford tonight then City will be promoted at the KC on Saturday (16th April), if they beat Swindon.
