Hull Big Screen

The Big Screen in Hull
The Big Screen in Hull

What is the Big Screen?

The screen, one of only five permanent BBC facilities in the UK, is on 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Take a look at our video links on the right and see a mini-documentary about the screens scatttered across the country.

It is showing a range on features, from local arts material, event information, latest news and sport, plus a selection of programmes from the BBC's range of digital TV channels.

The screen has made possible by a unique partnership; Hull City Council who own the screen and plan events in the square; Philips, who provide and maintain the hardware, and the BBC, who run the screen and organise the content.

Jeremy Buxton is BBC's Big Screen Manager for Hull, and he would really like to get you and your organisation involved.

If you are organising an event and would like a mention on the Big Screen, why not send your details to Jeremy? He would also like to know what you think of the screen.

Send your details to hullbigscreen@bbc.co.uk
