Spurn
Point is an important centre for navigation for ships entering the
Humber.
The Humber pilots have their control centre here and the point has
the UK's only full time lifeboat station.
There have been lighthouses here since 1427. The black and white
lighthouse in the picture was built in 1885 and stopped operating
in 1986.
