An alternative to painting is to veneer the walls. Use inexpensive wood and inlay with more costly woods creating a pattern. |

Use veneering to disguise a foldaway bed. This bed maximises space and gives the room a dual-purpose so it can be used as a living area and a bedroom. |

Keep the floor colours light and simple. Use laminated flooring and add an Art Deco style black and white rug for elegance and detail. |
