My name is Annabelle Dobson and i'm 21 years old. I have a degree in history from Hull university. I am currently training to be a history teacher which i love.
I have always enjoyed history, in paticular WW2 but especially since I have been researching my Great Uncle Frank Towle. He died in Belgium in 1944 but all of his letters from the front have been saved by my great grandmother. These were the basis for my research which now is a 10,000 word piece of family history.

I will be happy to help others in a number of areas including the home front in general, the ARP, Dunkirk and the Battle of Normandy. I have also studied the Third Reich and collaboration and resistance movements at university and have read more books on the topics than i can remember. I would be happy to answer questions on the above plus anything war related if i can. I also have about 200 books to help out!
