My name is Kenneth Bunting from Litherland Liverpool, L21 7NQ.
During the 1939-1945 war I served in the Royal Navy in minesweeping.For three years I was serving aboard a Norwegian Minesweeper called HNoMS BREVIK (KOS X111 )A converted Whale chaser, converted into a LL minessweeper.sweeping acoustic & magtecic mines.There where four other Norwegian sweepers,the VARDO the MANDAL the HARSTAD & 0ne other I cannot rememember the name.I know there were Manchester & other local Lancashire lads in thier crews.Is there anyone still out there that remembers.kenbunting@blueyonder.co.uk
