My uncle - Percy Owen Hay - has his name on Brighton’s War Memorial. Percy was killed a few months before the end of the war on September 9th. My mum had to take the telegraph to my Nan. My mum used to visit his memorial and usually puts a cross or flowers there. I later had to take over.
