Christmas card from HMS Implacable

This story was submitted to the Peoples War web site by Rod Sutton on behalf of Jack Pidgeon, the author, and has been added to the site with his permission. The author fully understands the sites terms and conditions.

The picture is of the front of a Christmas card sent by me to my parents from onboard HMS Implacable whilst I was serving on her in 1945.

The words inside the cards say:

To greet you this Christmas Tide,
With Thoughts that are Sincere;
And may the Joy of Peace be nigh.
In the Coming Year
