Letter to Nan from her grandson A letter from a small boy to his nan. He wrote it from an Anderson shelter, during an air raid. Who do you think Corporal Ronald Weir is?
Letter to Daddy from an evacuee   A letter to her daddy from a young girl who has been evacuated. The letter was written in 1941 and the war didn't end till 1945, so do you think she got her bar of chocolate from her friend Anne?
Letter to an evacuee from her mum   A letter to a girl called Delia, from her mum. Delia was evacuated to the south coast of England. She was sent away to avoid the bombing in London, so her mother must have been very worried to hear that planes were dropping bombs just where her daughter was.
