D-Day Clockwatch

Graphic taken from the 'D-Day Clockwatch'

D-Day Clockwatch' brings you the headlines from the greatest seaborne invasion in history, exactly as they happened on 6 June 1944, from the first paras into Normandy just after midnight to the final shots of the Longest Day.

Launch 'D-Day Clockwatch', and a window will appear on your computer, to be updated each time a new headline arrives from the front. Don't worry about missing a headline - just use the 'back' button to catch up on events you have missed. Or you can learn more about the Allied invasion of Europe by clicking on the links within the headline text.

Note: 'D-Day Clockwatch' uses some javascript. If your computer is not javascript enabled, click the launch link and you will be taken automatically to a version which does not use javascript.
