1986 CRAFTWORK AROUND RINGSTEAD

 HARMER POTTERY near St.Mary's Church  
 manufacture the complete product on   
 site including the design,firing,     
 glazing etc.Most is sold locally at   
 Craft Shows,Fetes etc.and products    
 include vases,dishes and pots.        
 The work is facilitated by piped gas  
 which is available here though in most
 of the area gas is only available in  
 portable cylinders.                   
 RINGSTEAD GALLERY sells pictures,     
 mostly painted by local artists,      
 and holds exhibitions and does framing
 and cleaning of pictures.             
 A LOCAL GAMEKEEPER produces some      
 wrought iron work (weather vanes,     
 hanging baskets and flower containers)

Shortly afterwards the website was added to The National Archives’ UK Government Web Archive.
