1986 SOME THOUGHTS ON THE FUTURE

 PREDICTIONS FROM JULY 1985 :

1)Many people will die of pollution.
2)More & more nuclear missiles will be
 built.
3)One day the world will blow up.
 4)Trees will become scarce.
5)Space for people will become scarce.
6)School classes will be run by
 robots.
7)Roads will become tunnels for air
 traffic.
8)Few of my friends will have decent
 jobs.
9)That England will win the World Cup.
10)The USA will win all the Gold
 Medals in 1992.
11)That this school will soon be
 pulled down.
 12)That the Domesday project will
never really work as well as people
 say it will.

In 2011 the BBC published the survey online and for six months invited updates to the photographs and text to celebrate the 25th anniversary.
