  There are 65 hotels and guest houses 
 and 26 self-catering flats advertised 
 in Scarborough's official holiday     
 brocure. In addition, an unobtainable 
 but significant number of private     
 houses take bed-and-breakfast and     
 full-board visitors during the summer 
 season from May to September.         
                                       
  Scarborough Council owns 215 beach   
 bungalows in North Bay for daily or   
 weekly hire in the season.            
                                       
  Burniston Road caravan park has 85   
 caravans, a mobile shop, a toilet and 
 shower block, dog compound and play   
 area.                                 
                                       
  Scalby Manor site has space for 270  
 touring vans and 25 tents.  It has    
 supermarket, laundry, showers, toilet 
 blocks, dog compound and play area.
