1986 EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

 We have a week 1 and a week 2 schedule
 Not every lesson is changed.We all get
 3 lessons of Maths and English a week.
 Some people may have P.E.once a week, 
 because they do not have a second     
 language. Other subjects include:     
 French,Environment Science,Physical   
 Science,Craft and German or Spanish.  
 Each lesson lasts 1hour 10minutes     
 which is equal to two periods. The    
 sports activites that we do at the    
 Graham School in summer are tennis,   
 netball,hockey,long jump and track    
 events.We also do cricket,            
 football,rugby,rounders and triple    
 jump. The facilities we have are 2    
 tennis courts, 1 athletics track, 2   
 long jump pits and 1 triple jump pit, 
 1 artificial cricket pitch, 1 football
 pitch and 1 large gym which can be    
 partitioned to make 2 smaller gyms.

In 2011 the BBC published the survey online and for six months invited updates to the photographs and text to celebrate the 25th anniversary.

Shortly afterwards the website was added to The National Archives’ UK Government Web Archive.
