1986 Events in W.Itchenor

  The Itchenor Sailing Club organises  
 annually open meetings for its classes
 - Swallows, Sunbeams,  X-ODs, 14ft    
 Internationals, Fireballs, Fireflies, 
 and Lasers and regular racing for     
 these classes every weekend.          
  It also organises a  Junior Fortnight
 for 8-18 year olds during the week    
 before and week of Cowes Week, sailing
 Ducklings, Mirrors, Toppers and       
 Fireflies, all owned by the individual
 cadet members.                        
  An exhibition, arranged by local     
 women, of marine and flower paintings 
 by professional and amateur painters, 
 with pottery and craft, is given every
 two years in aid of the Mission to    
 Seamen in Itchenor Memorial Hall. The
