1986 Itchenor area communications

  There are two postal deliveries amd
 two collections a day, with the
 exception of Sunday, in this area, one
 in the morning and one in the
 afternoon, deliveries being made to
 the houses and collections from the
 boxes.
  There are three letter boxes, one in
 Itchenor village, one at Malthouse
 Cottages, and one at the top of Chapel
 Lane which is an original Victorian
 wall box.
  There is one public telephone box by
 the Marine Police Office in The Street
 but the majority of residents have a
 private telephone.
