1986 Tourism in Itchenor area

  Itchenor is a much favoured centre   
 for sailing, having a hard that is    
 usable at all states of the tide.     
  There is a popular waterbus providing
 trips for birdwatchers, natural       
 history enthusiasts, and visitors.A   
 ferry running from Itchenor to Bosham 
 is available daily during the summer  
 season. Non-routine trips may be      
 booked through the Conservancy Office.
  At W.Wittering there is a static     
 caravan park with 180 mobile homes    
 which can be occupied from March to   
 October. There is also a motorvan and 
 tent park of 10 acres which has 60    
 static caravans for letting during the
  The Ship Inn, the only inn in the    
 area, provides bar snacks, has a rest-
 aurant, and offers overnight          
 accommodation.A number of houses in   
 the area also let to summer visitors.
