 Hucknall is served by one weekly      
 newspaper, the Hucknall Dispatch which
 comes out on Friday. In addition there
 is the Nottingham Evening Post which  
 is daily and carries a local          
 supplement each Tuesday.There are two 
 'free' papers - the Recorder and the  
 Nottingham Trader.The major stories in
 the Dispatch recently have concerned  
 the incinerator plant and the teachers
 pay dispute.The newspaper carries a   
 lively letters page and covers all    
 local sporting activities.Other major 
 stories covered recently have included
 the County Council elections and court
 cases. The area is also served by two 
 local radio stations -BBC Radio       
 Nottingham and Radio Trent. Both      
 include news items on Hucknall.The    
 former carries interviews on local    
 issues whilst Radio Trent is a        
 commercial station with record request

In 2011 the BBC published the survey online and for six months invited updates to the photographs and text to celebrate the 25th anniversary.

Shortly afterwards the website was added to The National Archives’ UK Government Web Archive.
