1986 MAYDAY SINGING
Mayday Every year our school does
Mayday singing for all the village on
Mayday.We learn some songs and make
standards out of flowers .We make a
standard for every class.We walk round
the village singing.We sing at
different places all over the village.
Some people give us money and sweets!
The money goes to the old peoples fund
SWORD DANCING.
The boys do SWORD DANCING. We use
swords.We wear special dress for this
dance.We wear red socks,black trousers
,white shirt and a red sash.Some of
the dances are very difficult.
MAYPOLE DANCING.
The girls do Maypole Dancing. They
dance round the maypole with ribbons.
The ribbons make patterns.The girls
wear colourful skirts.
