1986 EMPLOYMENT IN EYAM.

 From April 1985 to July 1985          
 we wrote for the Domesday Project     
 about the people with jobs in Eyam.   
 We gave out a number of questionnaires
 to villagers asking about the work    
 they did and where they worked.We     
 selected about one third of the houses
 in the village. Here are our results-

In 2011 the BBC published the survey online and for six months invited updates to the photographs and text to celebrate the 25th anniversary.

Shortly afterwards the website was added to The National Archives’ UK Government Web Archive.
