 QUESTION 1.                           
  35% of visitors came because of the  
 history of the village.               
 40% were on holiday in the area.      
 25% came for other reasons.

  55% came from the immediate area,thst
 is South Yorkshire,Manchester,        
 Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.       
 30% came from other areas of the      
 British Isles.                        
 15% came from abroad.

  20% came by coach.                   
  10% came on foot                     
  70% came by motor-car.               
 QUESTION 4                            
 .65% were making their first visit.   
  35% were coming on a return visit.   
 QUESTION 5.                           
  50% yes because of the countryside.  
  50% no-too few amenities.

In 2011 the BBC published the survey online and for six months invited updates to the photographs and text to celebrate the 25th anniversary.

Shortly afterwards the website was added to The National Archives’ UK Government Web Archive.
