2011 Knowlton Church - Autumn 2011

Knowlton Church remains more or less the same in 2011 as in 1986. The yew trees have grown bigger but the views are still delightful from the henged monument. English Heritage manages the site and mows the surrounding grassy areas but realises how important the abundant wild flowers are growing on the chalk soil beneath.

In 2011 the BBC published the survey online and for six months invited updates to the photographs and text to celebrate the 25th anniversary.

Shortly afterwards the website was added to The National Archives’ UK Government Web Archive.
