The district is well provided with entertainment. There are two cinemas in one in Cannock and each picture house shows a wide range of family films. In addition live entertainment is provided by clubs and societies and shows are presented at the Technical College and the Prince of Wales Centre which is a multi-purpose theartre with seating for 440 plus. There are number of wine bars and public houses in the town centre to suit all tastes. There is also a new "videotech" and a nightclub. Discos for young people are organised in the Civic Suite,Coniston Hall and St Micheal's Community Centre which are Council maintained buildings.
