1986 Ghost and Mystery stories

The Mystery of the Grave               
   In Penkridge Church yard on one of  
the oldest graves is a black skull and 
cross bones.  It is said that if you   
go round it eight times you go to      
The "Boat Inn" Ghost                   
   In this pub a ghost keeps on        
appearing and leaves little toy        
soldiers. This ghost has never been    
The Monk                               
   "Church Cottage" is the setting for 
a Monk's walk.  The Monk walks up the  
stairs then disappears through a wall. 
Bodyless Head                          
   The head of a girl called Anit      
Brizten haunts the main road by        
Dunston Bridge.

Shortly afterwards the website was added to The National Archives’ UK Government Web Archive.
