1986 CHURCHES _ CLEE HILL AREA

There are 3 Church of England
churches in our area. The church on
Clee Hill is St. Peter's, and was
built in 1881. The church services are
every Sunday at 10_00am, except for
the 3rd. Sunday in the month. The same
vicar takes the services at Clee Hill
 and Knowbury.
The church at Knowbury is called
St. Paul's. The service is at 11-00am,
and is on the 3rd. Sunday in every
 month. Church meetings are held
alternately at Knowbury and Clee Hill.
Many different things are done to
raise money for the churches, such as
 Fetes, Coffee Evenings, Cheese and
Wine Parties, Bingo and 50/50 sales.
Hope Bagot church is called St.
John's. The 1st. Sunday in the month
is Holy Communion at 8_30am; and the
3rd. Sunday is Evensong at 3_30pm.
