1986 Dundrennan Community Council

 The Dundrennan Community Council was  
 formed nine years ago.It consists of  
 six members who are elected every 3   
 years at a local election.The Council 
 meet every 3 months in Dundrennan     
 Village Hall.                         
     During the 1980's the Community   
 Council have built roadside summer    
 seats,and put up a slide,monkeybars   
 and tyres for the children's play     
 area.                                 
     This year the council is          
 organising a Community Fete,which will
 be held in August.Funds raised,will go
 towards the Senior Citizens Outing and
 extending the childrens playground.   
     Other work involves dealing       
 with and solving complaints from local

Shortly afterwards the website was added to The National Archives’ UK Government Web Archive.
