As Ballaugh has only really got one   
 general store or shop.Then Lamb's     
 "One stop Shop"is very inportant to   
 the village.It opens six days a week  
 being closed on Sunday afternoons and 
 Wednesday afternoons.                 
    Lamb's shop gets National papers   
 and local papers(The Isle of Man      
 Courier ,Isle of Man Examiner,Isle of 
 Man Times, The Gazette and Manx Life(a
 magazine).They sell vegetables and    
 groceries and other fruit.They are    
 also agents for Calor Gas.They sell   
 penny sweets and bars of chocolate.   
    Northern garage is an Esso Petrol  
 station .It also sells up market      
 second hand cars.It hass a new        
 showroom in which several cars can fit
 .They always have a line of cars      
 outside,varying in pride from £2000 to
 £12000 or more.
