1986 ARMED FORCES

     ARMED FORCES IN GUERNSEY          
                                       
   The lieutenant-Governor, the Queen's
 representative in the Island, is the  
 commander-in-chief of the Island's    
 armed forces.  These consist of a     
 cadet brigade comprising some pupils  
 and staff from Elizabeth College, a   
 boys public school in the D square.   
   There is a move at present to

In 2011 the BBC published the survey online and for six months invited updates to the photographs and text to celebrate the 25th anniversary.

Shortly afterwards the website was added to The National Archives’ UK Government Web Archive.
