Viking Age Farm at Ribblehead Virtual Tour

alt text

The model shows a Viking Age farm, excavated in the 1970s at Ribblehead, Yorkshire. Play the panorama to take a virtual tour of the farm. Hold your cursor down to move around the panorama; select '+' to zoom in and '-' to zoom out.

Ribblehead Farm consists of three structures: a main building, which was the living quarters, and two smaller buildings, thought to have been a blacksmith's workshop and a storehouse or kitchen.

Launch the virtual tour

If the virtual tour doesn't play, you may need to download a free VRML plug-in (eg Cortona). BBC WebWise has a step-by-step guide to help you.
