This tour of Hereford City centre will take you from the Civil War to the battle of Mortimors Cross, and from Norway to Italy. You'll learn a lots of history, geology and get fit at the same time!

There's plenty to see in the centre of Hereford, including the Mappa Mundi, one of the oldest maps in the world.
Getting there:
By rail:
The start of the walk is 20 minutes from Hereford Station.
By bus:
The 420 service will get you from Worcester to Hereford. Once in Hereford there are plenty of services connecting to Broad Street and the Cathedral.
By car: A list of the car parks, and their costs, in Hereford can ve found on this page.
Walk conditions
All of this walk is on pavement, and much of it is in pedestrianised areas.
