FACTS

Madresfield Court is a moated Elizabethan house, extensively rebuilt between 1863 and 1888

It's surrounded by parkland, famous for its displays of daffodils

The novelist Evelyn Waugh was a frequent visitor to the house, and the Beauchamp family who lived there, both of which are said to have inspired his book Brideshead Revisited
