  • There used to be a cafe at the top of the Worcestershire Beacon until it burned down in 1989.
  • In Victorian times there was also a camera obscurer on the Beacon and another one at St Anne's well.
  • The well at the foot of the Worcestershire Beacon is one of 72 wells and springs on the hills.
  • If you look closely at the photo you can see pupils of the John Maysfield High School in Ledbury who were on a field trip the day the picture was taken.
