Jeremy Long and his Mum made a special trip to see The Fleece Inn at Bretforton near Evesham, and were there the day before the fire.
Jeremy was born in Weston-Super-Mare, where his Mum still lives, but now lives in Seal Beach, California. He may have taken the last photos of the historic Fleece Inn at Bretforton before it was gutted by fire. "I took a few when I had lunch there the day before the fire. "My Mum and I took a cross country route from Weston on our way up to Solihull to visit my Aunt. "We expressly took the Evesham road to make sure we made it to The Fleece, before heading on up through Stratford to Solihull." "We sat in the room with the pewter so I'm glad to hear that collection was saved."
