Mandi's
show goes out each weekday afternoon from one until four
Roger
Granholm heard the show on his set in Finland
Mandi
Harris has many fans all across the two counties, and quite a few
from neighbouring counties as well.
You can easily pick up BBC Hereford and Worcester as far away as Bristol
if the weather is right and you listen on medium wave.
Now Mandi has found out if you have a 700 metre long aerial, and good
radio receiver and a lot of patience you can hear the show as far
away as Finland.
Roger Granholm not only heard Mandi's show from the other side of
The North Sea but sent a recording to prove it.
Here's Roger's own explanation of how he came to be listening to Mandi.
"I love to hear this signal. And I also love AM Radio.
"It is very fun to tune in a new radio station in medium wave
with English programme.
"My hobby is DX`ing. It means listening to foreign radio broadcasters,
just like your station. I have been interested in DX-ing since 1997."
To pick up the signal Roger has a 700 metre longwire antenna pointed
towards England and South America.
He was even able to send a transcript of what he heard - so you can
check out the recording and see if you think he's right!
