A spectacular firework display, with Worcester Cathedral as a backdrop, marked the end of the first ever festival in Worcester.

This celebration of the arts ran from the 9th until the 25th of August, and involved both professional and amateur performers.

Bob Bilsland, who takes many of our panoramic pictures, set up his tripod at one end of the river bridge in the centre of Worcester.
