Formed in 2006, F4 are an unlikely bunch of shy reclusives who play classic & contemporary music.
The band say their attitude is simple - "if we love it, we'll play it" – and the audiences are kept guessing as we constantly strive to keep it fresh.
They've been together now since 2006, are gigging at least every week, and rehearse and record at their own studio in the countryside, near Droitwich.
The band personnel are:
Rhiannon from F4
Dave Rowlands: Vocals/Bass/Acoustic guitar:
Dave has been on the local music scene for a number of years including a spell with Warwickshire band Kilsurf City.
Nick Beesley: Drums:
Nick was also with Kilsurf City. He has a no-nonsense approach to drumming, with precious few frills, just dyed-in-the-wool 4/4 beats.
Rhiannon Hellyer (Rio): Bass/Rhythm guitar/Acoustic Guitar:
Rio has a musical understanding far beyond her years, and had played in the band from its conception. She draws affection from the F4 fan base, and also switches to rhythm guitar and vocals when necessary.
Ady Hellyer: Guitars/Keyboards:
A veteran of the Worcestershire music scene, Ady comes from a musical family and has been playing guitar since the age of nine.
You can listen to all the latest music from across the two counties on the Friday Session Introducing... every week from 7pm, on BBC Hereford & Worcester. The Music Map success stories are from 6pm.
