A five piece guitar-based band (pop/rock) from Malvern who got together in May 2007.
Rhondda love music - they put on a show when playing live, with a mix of professionalism and humour.
They play strong original songs of their own and also a good choice of covers.
In between playing around the Midlands, Rhondda recorded their debut album, 'Bird Released', in Birmingham.
The band are influenced by The Beatles, Crowded House, Squeeze, Radiohead and their songs are characterised by strong vocal harmonies.
Their songs tell of a journey from the end of a relationship to the beginning of a new found love.
Kevin Tudge has been songwriting since a young age, and can clearly recall writing his first song at the tender age of five.
He told BBC Hereford & Worcester's The Friday Session Introducing... "There's a lot of emotion in these songs, which I consider to be my best work as a songwriter.
"The band and I are very proud of the album, as we all put a lot of hard work into it."
You can listen to all the latest music from across the two counties on the Friday Session Introducing... every week from 7pm, on BBC Hereford & Worcester. The Music Map success stories are from 6pm.
