Brother sister duo, Muchuu, have been writing and recording music together since late 2008, and the combination of G-Man's synth melodies and Milky's poetic lyrics makes for beautiful, hooky, electro music with an oriental feel.
The name 'Muchuu' comes from Milky's love of all things Japanese – it means to be in an ecstatic delirious trance, and hopefully their music reflects that kind of feeling – it's "Enya meets the Ting Tings".
Since launching their music on-line, Muchuu, already have a growing fan base - they've launched a ten track CD called 'Date with Mayumi', recorded and produced at their home studio in Tillington, just outside Hereford.
The sound is a mix of electro synth and keyboard sounds, along with live percussion, wind instruments and Milky's distinctive, harmony vocals.
The theme of many of their songs is escape from the mundane things and pressures of life – appreciating the real things, the little things that make you smile!
You can listen to all the latest music from across the two counties on the Friday Session Introducing... every week from 7pm, on BBC Hereford & Worcester. The Music Map success stories are from 6pm.
