An Anglo/Swedish band, whose sound has been compared to The Pretenders, another band with Herefordshire links.
Foxtrot Bravo is an Anglo/Swedish band, set-up two years ago by writers Rob Choler (guitarist) and Liv Lyons (singer).
Liv, who comes from Herefordshire, met Rob, from Sweden, in London, and since then their project received a lot encouragement and support from the music industry.
The music is often compared to sounding a bit like The Pretenders, who were ironically also formed in Hereford.
More recent successes have included being contacted by MTV in the States, who licensed their music catalogue, as well as using 'Lose It' for one of their reality TV shows, called NEXT.
Foxtrot Bravo has also enjoyed a lot of support and successes from interactive music/fanbase internet sites – reaching the showcase final of www.slicethepie.com this month, out of over 1500 entries.
They also reached No.10 on the most listened tracks on the newly launched MTV soundtrack site, soundtrack.mtv.com, spent 20 weeks at No.1 on www.indiecharts.com and five months in the Top 10.
Currently the band are gaining 150 fans a month through www.numberonemusic.com, signing up from all around the world to receive their newsletter.
The band has also had three songs at one time in the Top 10 as 'most highly rated' on www.tunesquare.com.
Both Rob and Liv have come from well-established music backgrounds; Rob Choler formerly signed to BMG in Stockholm and Liv Lyons has previously worked with Paul Herman (Corrine Bailey-Ray, Dido) Chris Kimsey (Rolling Stones) and Jim Eliot (Kylie Minogue, Kish Mauve).
You can listen to all the latest music from across the two counties on the Friday Session Introducing... every week from 7pm, on BBC Hereford & Worcester.
