This four piece (plus guests) produce pure, vibrant funk/ pop/ and 'bling-free' hip-hop track tinged with soul and have played Glastonbury several times.
Cantaloop say their mission is to provide 'iFunk + indie Hip Hop' for the masses.
They are fronted by the hip-hop/funk attack of Dannie De, with the pioneers of 'ifunk' 100C on guitar, De'wooton on bass, and Beef on drums - with additional players The Horns of Plenty and special guests.
In 2007, the band completed a tour of 10 dates in Ireland with The Fun Lovin’ Criminals.
Cantaloop have supported several reputable, established acts including:
• De La Soul
Their debut single, In The Frame, was released in 2008, as was their first album, I.C.H.I.L.E.
Sarina Q of Spill: "A funk locomotive from Worcestershire, self-proclaimed pioneers of Nufunk, having witnessed this band on countless occasions, they leave you breathless from bopping your head, and twisting your feet in harmony. There's only one recommendation here, catch this band live!"
