The Bromsgrove family of drummers are experts at using rhythm to create a carnival atmosphere. ![]() Glamba at Walsall Parade They combine beats from Africa, Brazil and the West, using whatever instruments come to hand - from dustbins to congas and traditional samba drums. Each member has a different style; Nick Ledbury is the engine of the group and Karen provides the heartbeat, while Scott describes himself as doing the 'flashy stuff'. ![]() Playing at a showcase Their performances are all about having fun with rhythm and dance - they've been playing at street theatres and carnivals all over the country for years, as well as running drumming workshops.
