People doing tai chi

Tai Chi on the top of the Malverns

BBC H&W's Miles Pilling climbed up the Malverns to meet a local man with over twenty five years experience in this ancient martial art.


BBC H&W's Miles Pilling climbed the Malverns to meet Altair de Almeida, a local Tai Chi expert who practices his art there.

Tai Chi is centuries old and comes from China, it's a system of movement that's used to promote harmony in body, mind and spirit - helping people to relax and improve their posture.

Altair has been practising the art for over 25 years, his particular area is called the 'inner dance' school.
