A: Long hours, lots of paperwork; seeing the occasional game, organising other people to go and see lots of sport.
Q: What's your favourite place in Herefordshire and Worcestershire?
A: Herefordshire: view from the top of Kingswood bank between Kington and Eardisley, looking down over Hay-on-Wye, Hay Bluff and obscene amounts of beautiful countryside. Worcestershire: view off the Worcestershire Beacon; assuming someone hasn't nicked the toposcope (again) you can have great fun picking out landmarks up to forty miles away (but then I'm easily pleased).
Q: Who's your favourite person?`
A: My wife, Barbara (who could well be reading this…!).
Q: What's your favourite hobby?
A: Cricket (I am not very good, and only get picked because I am the Club Secretary and am the only one prepared to speak at the Dinner).
Q: Your favourite food?
A: Roast Welsh Lamb and all the trimmings.
Q: Your favourite drink?
A: Budweiser (gin and tonic if you're buying…)
Q: Favourite song?
A: Who are You - The Who (this week; will change by next week).
Q: Favourite film?
A: Kodak or Where Eagles Dare
Q: Give us a fascinating fact about yourself:
A: I am an Honourary Citizen of the State of Tennessee. (Anorak radio fact, I was the first person to ever have got the Breakfast jobs at both the ILR and the BBC stations in this area!).
