'Clayfeet' is the new single by AMP. It features the two heads of AMP, Jeremy Creighton Herbert and Mikey Kirkpatrick, as well as two guest musicians from London. Also featured is Golden Valley based percussionist Manu Song, who plays the clay pot and drainpipe on the track!
Jeremy explains the meaning behind the song:
"Clayfeet is the title of one of the photos currently on show at my Photographic Exhibition in the Cheddar Gorge, Somerset. Clayfeet the single tells the imaginary tale of a Rose's heroic journey from seed, going through a bit of danger, but receives help from a few friends along the way to become grown and loved!"
The track is taken from their AMP album 'Here There But Somewhere', which was released in October. The seven tracks interpret some more of the photos from the exhibition, including pictures of New York City, the Faroe Islands and the Mediterranean.
You can listen to all the latest music from across the two counties on the Friday Session, every week from 7pm, on BBC Hereford & Worcester.
